How to get here
By train: Exeter St Davids station is well-connected to the national UK railway network. From the station, the University can be reached either by foot (a 25 min walk, including a steep hill section at one point), taxi (there is a rank outside St Davids station), or public transport (take the UNI bus line at The Imperial bus stop).
By car: Car parking is very limited on campus, and we advise participants to use public transport. The nearest car park available to visitors is Car Park C. This is toll parking, see https://www.exeter.ac.uk/visit/directions/carparks/ for more details. Additional parking is available on Prince of Wales Road (this is paid parking operated by RingGo).
By plane: Direct flights operate into Exeter Airport and some airports in the United Kingdom. Taxis from the airport can be pre-booked from Apple Central Taxis (01392 666666), at https://www.appletaxisexeter.co.uk/. Alternatively, you can fly to Bristol Airport. Taxis from the airport can be pre-booked from Apple Central Taxis (see above), or you can use the train service to Exeter St David’s via Bristol Temple Meads. See the National Rail website for details. Another option is to fly to London Heathrow Airport. Use the Heathrow Express to London Paddington and then take a train from there to Exeter St David’s. Several bus lines (Megabus, FlixBus, Stagecoach, and National Express) offer a cheaper alternative between these airports and Exeter. We recommend booking bus tickets in advance to avoid any delays.
